Trained in education and holding a Master of Divinity, Lydia cares deeply about the next generation. She gets to care for them in her role as a school principal in a unique pre K-Grade 12 setting in Portage la Prairie called Westpark, which is faith-based but also adheres to provincial curriculum. She also serves in the role of Pastor of Educational Ministries at Prairie Alliance Church.
Lydia is also passionate about the three people who comprise her life outside of ministry: her husband Kevin and their two young kids. Together, they enjoy going to the zoo in Winnipeg and watching polar bears swim, hiking trails, camping, building snowmen. Lydia also claims to be “kind of into” cake decorating and she enjoys playing the piano.
