O God, with all our hearts, we long for you. Come, transform us to be Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused people, multiplying disciples everywhere.
BIBLE READINGS:
Luke 3:21–22; 4:1–30
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
At his baptism, Jesus was named, blessed, and affirmed by the Father and the Spirit. Do you live with an ongoing sense that you are dearly loved by God?
How have you experienced the Spirit strengthening you in obedience? Where do you sense his invitation to be conformed to Christ?
Where do you sense a need for the Spirit to empower your ministry?
PERSONAL PRAYER:
That you, your loved ones, your church, and your city would experience the love of God; be empowered by the Spirit to walk in holiness and participate in the ministry of Jesus.
LISTENING PRAYER:
Jesus, what do you want to reveal to me through your Spirit to hear, see, or do today?
MISSIONAL PRAYER:
Kingston (Oshawa) | Pray for deep formation and calling among students and young leaders in campus-adjacent communities.
Lord, we lift up the people of Southern Thailand, where Islam and Buddhism meet and where many live in spiritual uncertainty. Lord, You know their hearts and their longing for truth. We pray for those who have practiced folk Islam mixed with animism and are now becoming more deliberate in their faith—may their search lead them to You, the source of life and peace. Strengthen the few believers in this region and give them courage and wisdom to share Your love. Open doors for the Gospel to be heard in homes and communities and may entire families come to know Jesus as Savior. We ask for Your Spirit to move powerfully in this land, breaking down barriers and bringing hope where fear and tradition prevail.
